Ben Shelton	Mullard el-34 What can you tell me about mullard EL-34's? I've just     come across a couple and wonder what they are best suited to. Thanks, Ben

Fj	They're outstanding in most any MARSHALL amplifier that calls for type EL-34 or 6550 power-output tubes...(if the amp has 6550's, have it re-biased for the MULLARDS)...Frank.

Ben:             Not only do Mullard EL34's sound terrible in all amps but they have been listed as a hazardous waste by the EPA. However, if you mail them to me, I will see that they are disposed of properly. < g >         Steve Ahola         P.S. Do you have any more Bassman heads for sale? I already used up the one you sold me last year and I'm ready to buy another one!
