Does anyone know the 'Brand Name' of that goopy stuff manufacturers use to secure large capacitors to circuit boards? Thanks in adv.

I don't, but I will point out that hot-melt glue and various RTV silicone adhesives are popular around here.

Just don't use off the shelf Silicon calk/glue. It contains acetic acid and will make a mess of the inside of your amp over time.

Loctite make something called 'Black Tak' for component strain relief. It's very expensive though.

...oh, and there's something called Loctite 5145 that's non-corrosive.

The "Ultra" series of sealant/adhesives made by Loctite is non-corrosive, and you can buy it at your local auto parts store. The Ultra Grey is the toughest/strongest version.

What's the stuff the big amp manufacturers use, usually to anchor big capacitors on printed circuit boards. Obviously, that is the proper compound for that job (non-corrosive) or they wouldn't use it in that environment in the first place and we all know that they wouldn't use anything too expensive, either!
