I've thinking about the possibility of building a complete tube amps that's like stomp box size and could be used like a stomp box(plug it into a regular amp or PA) gots any suggestions?

Like a boogie V-twin with a speaker in it?

Something like the V-twin but with a tube power amp as well.

I once built a tweed champ and instead of a speaker I put a resistor. from there I had a line out with a vol control. you could get a bypass pedal to bypass the whole thing, that way, you wouldn't have to actually step on any part of the amp. If you wanted more gain, you could build a marshall preamp(and even put a 3-band tone stack on it) that would sound very good IMO.

Then Frank's suggestion is what you're after.
