Well ..you can't go wrong building a tweed champ http://www.angela.com/catalog/how-to/single_6v6/ take a look at that..or any of the ax84 projects.. Have Fun!! Jethro |

The AX84 P1 is a natural first project, very simple and low cost. If you are a little more ambitious, a 5E3 (tweed Deluxe) is still fairly simple and produces a classic. Lee |

Re: A good first amp project :Tutorial The reason I posted the champ from Angela is the nifty tutorial that accompanies the project..Very good method of teaching construction techniques that are indespensible for later projects.I think it was less frustrating to pick a simple amp than a MongoDoubleThrowMeDown100WattHooHahAmp.Exactly why I've never showed photos of the first "brew".. a lead dress knotted tangle!I'm up to SF wiring technique now!! Hee hee Have fun!! Jethro |

| FrankC | I checked out the Angelica site. Wow! That's a hell of a tutorial indeed! Very informative. Kinda walks you through the whole thing. Thanks! |
