Re: Fullclone (or screamer+) I had an orange FDII that was close in serial # to the one John made the schem from and you couldn't get a clean boost from that one, which is why I sold it. I got another orange one for dirt cheap and it does the clean boost well, because it has the comp cut feature, which I believe somebody said lifts the diodes out of circut. Either way, I still don't want it and its on ebay.

So you just had the opamp distortion, which I thought was quite good in it's own right. Might take a diode pair out as it gives a nice boost to the signal (great for ACa DaCa!)
