Studio,Quad or Formula preamp?!?Which is better?

Cheers!

Definitely the Quad preamp. It has the extra weight and heft to keep any door propped open, where the Studio would only be suitable for lighter doors not subject to heavy winds. The Formula is totally unsuited for door propping and is probably best used to replace the Boscorelli and Thompson books that have been used to level up the washing machine. :)

Mesa/Boogie: gives you every tone but the right one!

Murray,

I used to have a V-Twin preamp pedal, and the stuff on these pages blows it away.
I'd rather have a Mini Booster, Son of Screamer, and Hot Fuzz on the floor than the V-Twin. Just my opinion.

The sweet thing pedal KILLS the V-Twin in every sense of the word. It's not even close.
