MK II Parts Layout /PCB Ok- I did a rough draft of a PCB and Parts Layout for the MK II incorporating Aron's trim pot. I started out with JD Sleep's basic Fuzz Face PCB, downloaded it, opened it in MS Paint, and cut and pasted around until I got something I think will work. Still got some cleaning up to do and I'm also afraid my eyes might be missing something. My law sschool education didn't prepare me for graphic arts or circuit design! Would some of you mind taking a look at my "rough draft" and letting me know if I missed something? When I get it cleaned up and finalized it will be available on my new CD.  Sorry, couldn't resist. Aron can link to it and I'll make it available for free to anyone who might want to use it.

Looked at it again this morning and found and fixed a couple of bonehead goofs (didn't have the first transistor connected to what would have been the input of the Fuzz Face board & had one of the 100k resistors shorted). I've replaced the link above with an updated one - showing both parts and a "cleaned up version" for toner transfer. RG - after taking my first stab at arranging a PC Board I have a whole new respect for you guys that do the really good ones. |

After listening to Aron's modified MKII I'd be more than happy to buy a RTS PCB... What an awesome sound aron !!! |

| R.G. | ready to solder PCB for the MKII I actually did a PCB for the basic MKII a while back, just never put it into production. If it get a few more replies, I'll put trimmers in it and ship it out for replication. |
