FAT GNAT is excellent I just played my copy of Jack Ormans FAT GNAT again.... It's very good. I have mine boxed up in my original Big Box RAT pedal What a very good and unique sound! It's one of my favorite pedals. If you haven't built one, do it! I think it's one of the best IC-based pedals around. http://www.muzique.com/amz/gnat.htm |

| anonymous | How's the sound compare to the Sweet Thing? I'm constantly impressed with it and all my friends dig it too. The sound clip I heard of the FAT GNAT seems to have a lot of liquid-sounding harmonics. My next pedal will probably be the Dr. Quack, but I'm thinking about this one too. |

It is very good. A smooth sounding rich harmonic sustaining tone. The thing about it is that it's very even sounding without being peaky. When plugged in, it instantly sounds better than 90% of the pedals out there. It's very good. |
