Pedal to Pedal cables whats your pref....
I like GEORGLE-L cables to connect between pedals,
what does everyone else use on their pedal
boards? I have some homemade jumpers
with switchcraft L jacks that I like as well.
Anyone have comments on this?

Currently I just use those cheap multi-colour molded plugs, the 6" jobbies. Looked into the George L's today - $1 CAN a foot isn't too bad, but the $6 a plug turned me right off. With my pedalboard, I'm looking at an investment of over $50. The setup sounds alright to me right now. Maybe I'll reconsider when I get a job or something.

Check your local Music-Go-Round if you have one in your town. They stopped supporting George L, and I got the 200 foot remnant roll for $20. I just solder on Switchcrafts (when I can find them), and it works great.

I'm in Canada. The nearest Music-Go-Round is probably in Minnesota or something...

So you can just solder on regular plugs onto the cables? Now that makes them more interesting to me. I've been looking to buy a whack of switchcraft 90-degree plugs for making my own patch cords (anyone recommend a source? Everyone I contact either wants me to buy a few hundred dollars worth or doesn't even have any), and if I can use George L's, then $1 CAN a foot ain't much at all. Hmm, intriguing.

I can confirm there's a Music Go Round in Duluth, MN. I've only been in there once and thought it was dump. =)

I personnally use Mogami cable, ground, 2blue, 2clear. So I can double up + and - solder points.

George L's for both the pedal board and the rack. Also the run from the pedal board to the the amps.
Doug.
