Re: I have a Foxey lady with tone control Thanks! What was the 2 knob Foxey lady? I should re-read my Stompbox Book - maybe it's in there. |

Ive got one of the old Guild two-knob Foxey Ladys.Never cared much for the sound of it though.I am pretty sure it has only two of those black mushroom style transistors in it.The circuit board looks like a handmade single sided jobbie;laid out pretty much like a Fuzz Face, not at all like any of my Big Muffs.....If anyones interested,Ill draw this puppy up and send out a link. |

| Stuart | I think the 2-knob ones were Mosrite Fuzzrites. That circuit sounds extremely thin and cheesy with the stock caps (2200p?). I think I put 0.1's in mine. Stuart |

Please draw it up. It would sure be nice just to have it, even if it's not that good. |

"...According to the book "Stompbox", Jimi wanted Mike Matthews to form a band with him. Don't know if you would believe that!..." Truth is stranger than fiction, but this is stranger than both. I think Jimi might have wanted him for his pedals BTW, has anyone ever heard the EH house band record? |

The truth is sometimes strange than fiction. Was it really Jimi Hendrix that opened for the Monkees only to flip off the audience and throw his guitar into the crowd? Was it really the famous Chip Douglas (Turtles, Monkees producer) that was playing quiet acoustic guitar in a corner of a Hilo, Hawaii tiny roadside club? All true. |
