Scott, This is relatively easy to do. An easy way to go is just build a "GEO Spyder Leg" Go to: http://www.geofex.com/Article_Folders/Spyder/spyder.htm Look at the second diagram in the article, which shows a little schematic of one of the legs of the spyder. It consists of - a transformer - a bridge rectifier - a voltage regulator - 2 capacitors Pretty easy to put together. Even easier: run a 12 volt wall wart thru a 9 volt voltage regulator and a filter cap and you've got very inexpensive regulated power. If you want a little more: http://www.geofex.com/Article_Folders/pedalbdpwr/pedalbd.htm Hope that helps get you started. Post more questions here if you want more details JD |

Scott, I just built up a power supply with an universal tapped transformer which supplied a couple of voltages, used a rectifying bridge, put a large cap across the + and ground, ran some regulators of the 9V and 12V taps, filtered it with small caps (couple of pico farads) and into some speaker terminals. Then connect as many effects as you like. Just have to be careful of ground loops. That powers my DS-1 and pretty much any other pedal. It's been working for years. Oh, and don't foget a fuse on it!
