My wah is a radio... And I don't want it to be a radio. I have a radio. I need it to be a wah. It's a Dunlop Crybaby, basic recent model. Modded for true bypass. When in the treble-position, it picks up local lite-FM radio really well. I hate lite-FM. I do live in a building that's pretty susceptible to radio waves - my old Fender amp used to get radio signals as well, but nowhere near as bad. Anything I can do about this? Frank |

One really easy thing to try is to put a small cap (like 100-220pf) between the input and ground (right after the input coupling cap). This acts as a filter for high frequencies (like radio waves). If that doesn't work, try increasing the value of the cap. If this doesn't work either, try hooking up the foot treadle pot as a tuner so at least you can get something other than lite-FM. |

That's funny. All my gear picks up Radio Canada International, the Spanish service. Especially a friend's Big Muff with the bad ground! Everyone had a good laugh at my expense. |
