OK, 1 more fuzzbox question.
Got a couple circuits in my multipurpose box for "once in a blue moon" effects. What I'm looking for now, is a circuit that'll give me a fuzz on the verge of barfing; nasty as a chainsaw. Not smooth like a Tone Bender, not for general purpose use, a true gross fuzz. Any suggestions?

Three knob tonebender does a pretty good gross-out definitely a potential H-Bomb.

Are you talking "Vox Suppa Tone Bender", a 3-knob version of the Sola Tone Bender, or another?

3 knob Sola Sound TB. It must seem like this is my favorite but i just like it a lot for its one trick. Whatta pony!

My 3 knob Sola Sound TB fuzzes don't behave in this manner. I can play all types of chords with it and they sound good, the 2 knob MKII on the other hand can't seem to handle much more than power chords or major chords.

Univox Superfuzz gets my vote.

Take a silicon Fuzz Face like say the Orange Sunshine.

Misbias it so it sounds screwed up.

It will really sound bad.

Or build my Lava Rim 2, omit the diodes and fool with the trim pots until it sounds horrible and hardly works.
