Fujisoku 3PDT Switches

Steve Daniels (Small Bear Electronics)	Fujisoku 3PDT Switches I'm looking at one of these, p/n 8Y3011. Does anyone have experience with how they hold up under stage conditions? If they are reliable, I'd be willing to stock them and accept small orders as I do for Carlings.

Some of them have a black plastic cap on the plunger. The cap goes away after a while but the switch still works.

Eric H	Steve, haven't tried them, but the reports I've read differ mainly on whether one is a stompbox "masher, or "stepper". They are apparently a bit less robust than Carling's --I'll try a couple if you get some at a decent deal, I'm a "stepper" . Eric

marrk	They came in my Driveomatic. Seem ok for now. FWIW, if you step too lightly, they can fail to make contact.

It's a dead accurate call. A real stomper will smush them. Fulltone used them for all boxes, but a rising tide of returns led Fuller to get a very robust plunger mechanism to replace the somewhat lightweight plunger in the stock Fujisoku switch.

As an aside, Fujisoku will not warrant those switches to manufacturers in stompbox applications.

If you warrant them, count on a number of returns and quick wear outs.

Unless the price delta above a normal DPDT is less than a couple of bucks, a Millenium bypass to provide an indicator is usually more cost efficient. That's a personal decision, though.

chuck	they make a 4pdt they make a 4pdt thats in my fulltone deja vibe, that might be good to be able to get ahold of too.
