Can someone tell me what product, preamp that would give me a half decent reverb. My amp does not have any reverb and I am not realy keen on modifing it so external is the go. thanks

You can score one of those little Alesis jobs second for a decent price, and patch it in to your effects loop. The 16 reverb and delay programs they have should be sufficient for most users whowere otherwise thinking of a one-knob springjob.  
 
If you DO prefer a one-knob springjob, Little Lanelei has a real spring reverb floor "stepbox" (you DON'T stomp on a spring reverb) that runs off a 9V battery.  
 
Digital and spring each have their pluses and minuses. Digital is mechanically dependable, and can produce some very different typs of effects/ambiences. Spring may SEEM simple, but as a mechanical system that responds differently depending on dynamics, there is a whole lot more under the hood than you would think, especially if you are in a position to adjust drive into it.

Thanks Mark, for the job required, that is small to mid sized pubs, and then I need it for only a couple of songs, the simpler the better, perhaps digital would be the way to go. I will investigate the products you have recomendened, thanks
