Hi,

I am looking for an echo pedal. Does anyone have any suggestions? I have tried out many pedals, but all of them seem to have that delay echo effect where it hits, and then it hits again. That is not what I am looking for.

What I want is a pedal that will make it sound like I am in a large room, so it doesn't hit again but the sound kind of lingers. Kind of like if you turn the echo on, on a kareoke machine.

Any suggestions on pedals to buy or to make would be great.

Ry	Try setting a delay pedal for one repeat, then run it through a reverb tank. The addition of the reverb might give you the lingering effect you are looking for. Ry

Sweetfinger	The Danelectro mini-reverb and slapback echo both sort of do what you are describing. You may also want reverb instead of delay, I'm surprised by how many players come into our store and don't know the difference between the two.
