cry baby my cry baby wah seems to have a spot in the sweep, i think it is from leaving the pedal in a position rather than all the way down when not in use, is this a common problem, and can it be fixed? |

you can replace the pot. some people spray silicone-based or other electronic cleaners in the pots to keep them going... generally this leads to lots more spraying, which can be ok anyway. i bet that there are specialty pots made now that you can replace the original with and get a nice sweep... try contacting geoffrey (sp?) teese... he has a website you can find using a search. he makes a some very well-designed adjustable crybaby-type pedals and may have parts he'll sell you. zachary |

Teese's pots are great. I've got one in my Thomas Crybaby and have installed a couple in friends' Voxes. Robust, durable (well, it hasn't been THAT long, but they look and feel very, very solid) and the sweep is probably adjusted - feels very nice. |
