Any good places to get a cool looking enclosure for my pedal project? :^)
Hi, do any of you folks know of some places to locate some cool looking project boxes such as stomp boxes, that will look good but also be durable to hold up to my heavy foot stompimg?

Thanks! Ed

Read the Guitar Effects FAQ at GEO for a run down on making pedals look good.

For small pedals, I like the Jameco p/n 11965 box. About $5 in small quantities, not well finished but die-cast and durable

Try http://www.paia.com

PAiA sells kits for making various guitar effects and they sell a stompbox case for housing the kits. In particular look at

and look at the bottom of the page.

Shucks!

Unfortunately, look at the price!

The 1590BB which is nearly perfect for DIY effects users is $10.40 at Mouser. The 1590DD which is even bigger and killer is about $20.

Both look more sturdy than the Paia version (the 1590 series are die cast).

It does look nice though and the holes are already drilled. No size specs....
