Ibanez TS7 Question Hello there.......The new TS7....What is the switch on that unit boosting,and is it both a gain and low end boost going on there or what? I haven't played through one of these,but seems they aren't to bad either from what I've heard and a price of like $45 or so?...Kind of like the poor man's TS9,just like the TS5 was when it came out years ago....John S. |

Just picked up one of these from the evil empire for $50 last week. Has the mythical 4558 chip. From my limited experience, it appears to slightly boost the low end, but the gain then shoots through the roof; more metal-zone sounding than TS. So far I'm really happy with the TS circuit; I've yet to tweak any of the output resistors, but will probably use RG's info to increase bass response. Regards, John |

this is an amazing pedal (on boost mode it almost fools you that it isn't a distortion pedal it has a nice rough lead tone the only thing i thnk it is missing is a an external switch. i must tell u that this thing gets very tempermental if u take its mids away but if u like mids this a really good pedal thats my 2 cents |
