Dunlop Rotovibe pedal fried from wrong psu
Anyone have a schematic or know what transistor is used at the wall wart input section of this unit ? the first transistor is fried beyond recognition, I think someone plugged an AC supply into it... many thanks.

if you are reffering to Q7, the one right behind the power supply connector, I cracked mine open and it reads 'MPS A18 M552'.

Hope this helps.

Re: Dunlop Rotovibe pedal fried/ GOOD pedal?
i am wondering about guitarists' experiences/opinions about these pedals? what's the bang for buck quotient? how does it do the leslie thing? other uses? thanks!!! bill

I really like my rotovibe. The leslie type of thing is lacking a certain something if you are going for the true rotary speaker sound, but I love being able to sweep the rate of the chorusing with my foot. The range of depth control is also very useful. The vibrato setting is pretty whacky. It's not very useful in most situations, but I've come up with some interesting sounds.

I've seen them recently on the Subway guitars site on their 'flea market' page for $125.

i bought my rotovibe at a pawn shop for cheap after i repaied one for a customer and thought i might like one. took it to a gig and played my les paul thru it, seemed "ok". i let our other guitar player try it with his strat, that freekin' pedal sounds GREAT with his strat. highly recomended for the "coldshot tone". muddobber
