Old Effect Pedal Reconstruction

I would like some recomendations for a tech to rebuild/reconstruct three pedals for me. These are a MXR Micro amp, DOD Pre-amp Overdrive 250 and a Ibanez TS-9. Everything is almost there but the input/output jacks,stomp switch. I have the original boxes for these also. Please don't ask why there in this shape (Idle hands are the devils work shop).

Are you looking for mods or are you thinking "is it worth it"? The Micro Amp is a simple 1 stage op-amp type booster, non-inverting with a high input impedance; the Overdrive 250 is 2 op-amp stages with diode clipping on the output. We all know what the TS-9 sounds like...

I guess it boils down to how much you'll have to spend to get the pedals up & working. You can get a Micro Amp for under $60 used.

Although useful, there is no reason on earth to spend money on a "vintage" LPB-1 or MicroAmp. These are simple pre-amp boosters, equivalent to any circuit out of a 101-things-you-can-build-after-supper book. The only difference made by varying components in these will be hiss and battery consumption. MXR chose to go with more hiss and less battery consumption for theirs. You'd be wise to swap chips.

Ken	Thanks for your input guy's. I just wanted to put these back together and use them. My technical skills are not so great and thought I could either get someone to fix them or I can try (God Help Me) to get schematics for them and try to figure out where the wires go. Thanks alot Ken
