Re: Wah is life so hard! I haven't tried anything larger than the 4.7uf. R.G. says in his "Technology.." article that you can do it, but there is only a small difference in sound(if any). If you like the sounds you are getting stick with it. I've been working on my pedal with some unbelievable results also. Mark |

It doesn't make a huge difference, maybe slightly more bass response. Geoffrey Teese uses a 10µF on his RMC1 board. Stuart |

| Mark | Im using a Ten uf in mine. It does seem to have more bass. I like that ALOT. I wonder though, why the actual pedal seems to have less degree of movement than my new Jim dunlop? In other words, it seems to not have a lot of travel. Im not talking about the pot..the pedal itself.??My other thomas organ is the same way. |

You can monkey with the pads at the front and rear of the pedal for more travel. I recently put two small adhesive pads from RS in place of the front ones on my wha. They are a little hard to compress, but they are doing the job. Mark |

| Mark | Thanks , I will try that. By the way I recently purchased a Snarling Dogs Whino Wah and was amazed! This thing sounds incredible. It has a twin inductor feature that is very cool. ANd anything that has a "shaft" preset is cool with me LOL |
