Re: NTE 158 for FF Sounds like a bad pcb or improper instalation of the elctrolytic caps??. Make a new one and use sockets. I have a fuzz face that uses nte 158. I've bought a couple pairs at different suppliers and got diferent case styles. I assume different batches or manufacturers. They sound the same to me. A little muddy for my taste butthat may also be in the circuit. Where did you get the 2n388's?? I looked around but couldn't find any. Later |
