Reissue TS9 Question

Reissue TS9 Question Just wondering where guys are getting the JRC 4558 chips from for the TS9....Mine has the TA 75558 now and after modding it to the 808 it sounds really good,but I would still like to check out the 4558 chip since others tell me the pedal sounds even better....Thanks John S.

Joe Z.	John, Mouser sells them for approximately 30 cents each. Although not a vintage chip,most ears can't tell the difference between them. There are other op-amps you may want to purchase while visiting Mouser. Of course no advice given would be complete without mentioning R.G.'s "Technology of the Tube Screamer". Please search for the link in the Ampage resource section.

John S.	Thanks Joe....Yes it was R.G.'s great website that I got the mod from....I e mailed him to say thanks,but in doing so I forgot to ask R.G. where to get the chips.I am real famaliar with Mouser....Thanks for your help Joe,sure appreciate it....John S.

John S.	Thanks again R.G.and Trace Allen for the great TS9 mod info..... My TS9 sounds much better....thicker,warmer and smooother.Noticible difference than it was stock..Thanks Trace and R.G...John S.

marrk	FWIW, I have a JRC from Mouser in mine right now. It sounds damn near identicle to my JRC original chip. Mark
