Re: Best Pedal for Jimi's "Red House"? I tend to favor the silicon fuzz face with some sort of echo. Use a pickup compo that allows the fuzz to sound truely heavy and beady like in the most common (in my experience anyway) of the song- this could mean in-between strat positions or even some sort of humbucker-equipped gibson. List to Eric Johnson's "camel's night out" for some similar thick, heavy lead sounds. JT |
