Opinions on MXR BlueBox pedal?
Has anyone tried the MXR BlueBox pedal, what did you think about it?

I've never tried one but I've heard they're supposed to be very unpredictable.

I've got one (origional Script) and I'm not impressed. The tracking is horrible. I think you can get a very similar sound with WAY better tracking by using your favorite distortion and one of the clean octave boxes like the Boss OC-2. My $0.02 FWIW.

I've got 2 blue boxes,1 script and 1 block, yeah the octave part is ordinary to say the least, and its a mono thing too so as soon as you hit 2 notes it goes crazy,I've got a sheet of paper with my block logo one and it tells the user how to use it and how not to use it,I suppose cos they knew how weird it is.

Would you mind scanning or typing that in for us? I'd love to se what the designers thought was "appropriate use" for the Blue Box
