Has anyone here ever heard, or even better, lifted the hood on one of these? Is it basically a 3-phase "string ensemble" chorus in a rack unit? (The new Line 6 Modulation Modeller can emulate this unit with DSP).

According to the Line 6 notes on this, there are 12 LFO's used to give the complex modulation required for the stereo chorus effect. Seems kind of unlikely to me, probably there are 2 sets of 2 3-phase LFO's.
