NKT 275's for Fuzz Face... Got any???
I'm looking for a set of matched (80-110 Hfe) NKT 275 transistors for my Dunlop Fuzz Face. Any help would be appreciated. -Jeremy

adrian I have hundreds of them. (yeah right)
I hate that too! You have this pressing question and...
I don't think anyone has these. RG was selling a diferent GE trans 388A before his selling apparatus went down for fine tuning. As I understand there is not a currently happening supply anywhere.

Correct me if I'm wrong, 'Pagers!

Re: ANYONE???
Well I have bought 8 pcs. AC 128, only used 2 to make the ´69 clone.

It's a great distortion but not MY sound at all, so the rest just lies there. I paid $1½ for them. They are easy to get in Europe.

I don't know the Hfe, I had little luck trying to measure it in a test setup

If any were available, they'd already be available through GEO. Your best bet at the moment is to find an old electronics shop that just happens to have some.

Actually, I do know of one cache of them. The dealer wants $25.00 each for them, and won't sell less than 100.

The NKT275's are the transistors to shoot for I've built some FF with AC128's and recently I thought I'd throw some money away and buy a Fulltone 69 pedal, basically the 69 was quite a lot better than my FF clone which my thought was pretty good!

If you can get the good transistors do it if not there is always Fulltone.

Yours Sincerely

Mark.

I just bought this smokin' little pedal from the "Toneman" Don Butler called the Rangemaster. (I got a Full-Range model) I'm not sure but I think it has one of those transistors in it. You could try him maybe.
I don't have the url but he's on the Vox BB alot.
