I've looked extensively on the net for a schematic of a Dallas Arbiter Trem Face to no avail. Can anyone tell me where I could find one? The reason I ask is because I figure the circuit has got to be as simple as the Fuzz Face with only two transistors. The Fuzz Face circuit does a great job for what it is. Also, for those of you who've tried a Trem Face....what was your opinion on the effect? When I build one I'll post the results.

Toddy	A friend found a picture of the inside of a Trem Face on E-bay. As expected it looks simple. 10 resistors, two silicon transistors, six caps, a switch, two pots, and two jacks and a 9 Volt. Now if there was only a map to put it together. To check it out...go to E_bay and search "fuzz" or pedals, It'll pop up.

If I remember right, the Trem Face was an NPN circuit. There weren't too many parts in there either. I had one along with a Colorsound Tremolo way back when. Both tremolos didn't "pulse" very well...they "chopped" when they worked. But for there time, they were great fun. I like they Boss Tremolo pedal now...it chops and pulses depending on how you set the knobs.

If you do find a schematic let me know. I have tons of old radios kickin' around so I can build one for cheap!!

marrk	I like the discontinued Boss PN-2. It even handles line levels, and really sounds great in the effects loop. Mark

I remember trying a Trem Face once. Pretty crude but neat sounding. They are pretty pricey now, too bad. I think many of they sixties "surfer bands" like the Beach Boys and Dick Dale used either a Trem Face or a Colorsound Tremolo. I like the EH Pulsar that a friend of mine used to have. You still can't beat a Vibro Champ for pulsing tremolo sound!! For kicks I'd like to build a Trem Face and do some mods to it.
