Re: Source for CA3094
Unfortunately, I tried them and Digikey discontinued carrying this part. They also require minimums for it. I may take Jason up on his offer if I cannot find any soon.

Thank you,

I proto-boarded the S.S using LM13600's and it works fine. However, the LM13600 has been discontinued by National Semi (but NJR still makes them). The LM13700 should be fine but with perhaps not as wide a sweep range (I heard that the Moogerfooger 12-stager uses these). One thing to be aware is that the Darlington in the LFO circuit does NOT have it's collector tied to V+, you will have to use an external MPSA13 for this and not the internal buffer of the 13600/13700.

Oops, sorry about the anonymous post. RF Parts Co., San Marcos, Calif.(www.rfparts.com) lists the CA3094T for 3.45 US. Do not know if they actually have any in stock. I have had good luck with them on some other hard-to-find parts.

If you get really stuck, RS in the UK has them for 75p, but the postage & small order charge would almost certainly make it uneconomical.
Might help someone over here at least.

If you get really stuck, there's a surplus place here in Austin with a tube or two of them. Found 'em on a Saturday hunting expedition.
