Source for CA3094 I have an EH Microsynth in for repair and I believe one of the transconductance Op amps is bad. The schematic on Jack Orman's site states that the EH1040 or a CA3094 can be used. This unit has 3094's in it and I believe the op amp that drives the Square wave slider is bad. However, finding this chip in small qty's is difficult. Does anyone know where any are in small qty's? Thanks in advance, CJ Landry CJLectronics |

I used CA3094's when I repaired my small stone (originally had EH1048 in it). I went ahead and replaced all the chips so I have a few (3) EH1048's laying around and if you need one or two (or even all three) I'd be willing to spring for a stamp and throw them in an envelope and mail them out to you if you find no other outlet. jason |

Hi CJ, Digi-Key has them - Part No. CA3094E-ND $1.46 each. If you have the catalog they're on page 188. JD |

Unfortunately, I tried them and Digikey discontinued carrying this part. They also require minimums for it. I may take Jason up on his offer if I cannot find any soon. Thank you, CJ Landry |

CJ, That is very unfortunate. We might all have a hard time building that GEO Little Rock when it arrives, if we don't find a source for these or similar ICs. JD |

The CA3080 is still very much available. It is when you need to extra current drive capabilities of the 3094 where you might have trouble. |
