Small Stone switch switching

Small Stone switch switching About six weeks ago we discussed switching the color switch to a pot in a Small Stone. After opening my Sovtek re-issue today I noticed that is no easy task to just throw a pot in there. The switch has eight connection lugs on it. Two questions since the archives aren't accessible yet. 1) What value pot would be used there? a 1K? would it be have to be a dual gang? 2) I think it was Mark Hammer who prolifically and nicely explained where to make the connections to replace the switch in the circuit. If possible can those words of wisdom be duplicated again? Thanks!! Toddy |

It was me who initiated the discussion, but it was my more erudite and capable partners-in-solder who explained the role of the various passive components directly connected to the switch. I wish *I* could find that post again too. |

I hope that whoever explained how to do this would once again step forward so they can hear me (and the rest of the Ampage fans)applaud them and receive the credit they truly deserve!! (Not to mention that this would help me out a great deal also.) Thanks, Toddy |
