Millenium 2 Question I've just built a Millenium 2 Bypass Circuit, but I haven't built my Pedal yet(Still Waiting on parts), Could someone clarify this for me.. Without the Effect Connected The LED is On, if I put a resistor between the Ground and the Switch input, it goes out, (I have things reversed coz its for a fuzzface type pedal, so ground is actually +9v) Thanks Blair |

It's working correctly. The LED goes out when the control line is connected to ground by a resistor - even a BIG one. | |

| Adrian | I am wrestling with a Mil @ right now myself. I first installed it in my DIY Hog's Foot incorrectly, tying its control line to a jumper tying two switch lugs together in th"Standard" dpdt setup : eff. in - eff. out in jack - out jack jumper - Mil/jumper Oddly enough this worked, I'm not sure why - would only work with the bass plugged in (not just the cord) - Oddity - The led would light with the effect switched off the led would flash on very hard hit low notes. This I get, as the bass can produce about a 2 volt peak. Yesterday I rewired the jack correctly (as per a previous post - like the True Bypass w/mil Box - which I have made and works great) and although the led functions correctly the booster has a slight volume drop coupled with an ugly odd distortion. I Tested the transistor (2N7000) for failure but it was ok - tried a sub also. When the device was on and I shorted out the mil board with my finger the pedal sounded normal again. When I get back home from work I'm going to get at it again but any info that might point me in the right direction will be of great help! |
