Opamp recommendations.. I need a differential amplifier capable of producing around 100ma.. at least 60 ma ..Can someone suggest an opamp that I could use? Most I've seen are too low ~25ma or way to high 1A.. --Brian |

| Mark Hammer | There was a fairly comprehensive article in Performer's Audio or Audio Electronics (one of those mags from the New Hampshire publishers that put out Glass Audio and Speaker Builder) about making custom discrete op-amps (i.e., whipping up your own concoction from discrete components). Maybe that's what you want. Scan available if it suits you. |

Mark, I would love to see that article if you can send it to me. Thanks, Jay Doyle |

| Mark Hammer | Can do. Give it a few days, I'm sleep deprived as it is. Between RG and myself, I think there is approximately one person's worth of sleep per night, maybe less. |

Sheesh, I guess there's the telltale sign! I usually do these things as a string of 1-bit (B/W) GIF files zipped together. As such, they can add up to a meg or more. If your e-mail chokes on such things let me know. |

Hi Mark, I would like to take a look. Send it to brian@psn.net Is there a way to parallel two opamps together, maybe using a quad tl074? I've got a project that I need several diff. amps, and discretes maybe too much to handle. I need around 0-60 ma for the output current. Burr-Brown has several high current op-amps, but they're about $6 bucks a piece from Allied..yikes! They drive loads from 1A to 5A, way more than I need. Thanks. |
