I just modded two ts7's nice case,jrc4558 stock! about 7 "evil" parts tested against a old ts808 hard to tell the difference with the modded units. FWIW the stock units are not bad for the money sound better to me than a stock 9 or turbo 9.

What do you mean by "'evil' parts"? Did you replace them?

do the standard 100 ohm/10k mod. The evil parts were some cheap caps otherwise the circuit is fine. FWIW the hot switch sounds ok with a modded petal.

Just picked up a TS7. If you don't mind, what caps did you change out and what caps did you replace them with?

The tiny electros on the main board and on the output jact board change to taste (Ta/film other electros). stock IC is a jrc4558 there are better ICs for the tsX's but the jrc4558 sounds ok.
