bass amp simulators... As an apartment dweller I am looking at "faking" a good bass tone at low volumes. I have considered the SansAmp for awhile but I think I'd have more satifaction in putting one together myself. Of coarse I need input as I don't have an SVT or Acoustic 360 to test tones. Where should I begin. I normally would steer away from simulation but I heard a guy playing a POD and was quite pleased. There has to be a way to simulate something like this for bass. Maybe easier? I have looked at the LXH2 stuff is this a good place to start? nic |

| Gus | nic a well received bas preamp is based on the old fender bassman preamp section. My point is that the tweed and or blackface setting on the pod or spider would make a good bass preamp. FWIW I own a spider I like it alot for what it is. |
