 Big Muff Alternatives??
I am looking for opinions on pedals that are a good alternative to Big Muffs. Whether they are a DIY or a store bought pedal, it does not matter. I just do not like the sound of the reissue Big Muff I have and I would like to either modify this one, build one with better electronics, or buy something else.  
 
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I think there are to many ceramics in the BM you can change them to films polyesters might be good you can change the bias points of the 2 clipping stages transistors for a different harmonic content etc.
