It's the PWV model with a wah level knob...(no output level knob) and this wah level control is not realy efficient (very little difference between mid and full up position).
I was thinking about that problem recently and was wondering if the problem could come from the fact that I'm using a 9volts battery instead of a transfo....just wondering because I know that some devices are not working properly if the voltage is not very close to 9 volts which can happen when the battery is slightly down or of a bad quality.

Don Symes	Batteries _are_ cheap... If that turns out to be the deal, your solution is simple. Decide whether the transformer or the stack of 6 D-cells are right for you. By the way, lots of FX leave the battery connected (on) if there's a cable plugged into the input. Remember to unplug.
