Re:Tube Driver - part two
Ok, I missed the ".dk" bit, so thats Denmark. Still quite some way from The Netherlands.
And if itīs the Blooze youīre after, the Hotbox will do that nicely (as well as a Hell of a lot of other stuff).
The ShakaBraddaIII also sports quite a reputation, and the Marshall BluesBreaker (the pedal) is nice, too. All have distinct voices of their own, so I cannot say what works best for you. IMHO, the Hotbox is the most versatile.

Re:Tube Driver - part two / '69 pedal
Yeah it's da blues I'm after!

I love that full, open, natural sustaining sound (got a few clips on my web www.radmer.dk by the way, that's the Tube Driver boosted by a Boss SD-1).

The Tube Driver is dated 1988 and is made on an old brown single sided PCB, all components mounted ON THE SOLDER SIDE OF THE PCB!! very wierd

I am testing your ī69 at the moment, it's a little rough and wild to my taste, but not bad at all. I have not started to adjust anything. I would like to measure the 8 AC128 and get the right Hfe's in it before doing any adjusting.

"My" 69...heh. Not true, at all, in case anyone didnīt know that.
The tranniesī HFE really make all the difference in the sound of this thing. Denmark isnīt that far off, I could send you a couple if you donīt get around to borrowing a DMM. How heavy is that TD? Any idea what it would cost to ship that thing?

Nice, but we need to get in way closer. If you can take one or several pictures that clearly show the coppertracks and components, I can draw a layout. You can the check this against your unit, and fill in the values. Wanna do that?
Also; extreme shape indeed... ;-)

okay, I'll do it. I will take more pictures and closer to the PCB. Give me a little time!

Re:Tube Driver - Jim, plz read?
I'm in Denmark. I could take a few photos of it if that would help. You _could_ loan it for a few weeks if you are very persisting...

Are we starting a new project here?

The new Marshall BluesBreaker could be my next tone ticket, I have to try it on my own setup. The first in-shop test was okay. I _have_ to try it at rehersal level though, it could make a huge difference
