 BOSS CS-2 vs. CS-3 Compressor
Can any of you explain what the differences are between the discontinued CS-2 and the current CS-3 (besides the shade of blue paint and the number of knobs)? I've heard some say that the older one sounds better, and I wondered what might be the reason. CS-3s are easy to find, and used CS-2s are rarely seen for sale. Is this an indicator, or coincidence?

I've heard that the CS-2 is supposed to be better than the CS-3 and that the CS-1 even better. I don't really remember, but the CS-2 and/or CS-3 had a pumping problem at some settings.
