3ms pedal schems.
Thought I'd share my findings with the best techs on the net ;-)

Here you can find a few of 3ms pedals to make.

Full with PCB layouts and parts list and some schematics also. Check at the bottom of the page.

Has anybody heard them? Any good?

I have e-mailed the guy Dann Green (from 3ms) a few times and he is a real down to earth type guy. 3MS effect pedals are not for the faint hearted. I really like the fact that they post the schematics for their pedals so that you can make them for "free". Sorta like the AMZ or Geofex...

I just finished bulding a Tremulus and except for a couple of small goofs on my part (indicator LED in backwards, one cold solder joint) it worked perfectly. One note of caution, the parts placement diagram shows the 100k volume trimmer(I used a full sized pot) connected to the wrong pin on the op amp, connect it like it is in the schematic. Dann has probabably corrected this since I last downloaded it.

I can't say enough good things about the construction technique detailed at the 3ms site. I've used it on two projects now and it worked great both times. It combines the advantages of perfboard and pc board without the time and expense of doing your own layouts and cardboard is cheaper than even perfboard.

You mean 3MS "CBCB"? I thought that was pretty cool.

Yup. On closer inspection the CBCB's have hole spacing that exactly matches perfboard so if you don't want to bother drilling all the holes you could just glue the pattern onto a piece of perfboard. I actually like the idea of using cardboard, it's a kind of meaningless economy. Along the same lines I'm thinking of threading the shafts on control pots so I can use nuts as knobs.
