Boss Blues Driver I read a post in alt.guitar about Johnny Winter's tone in a concert... A good post, btw. He was using a Boss Blues Driver. Any schems for this pedal out there? I saw Mick Taylor (or is it Mike?) last weekend here in Madrid, as a guest for a band playing in a tiny blues club. Sounded great with the slide. JohnC |

Aron. Thank you, I've been there and found it. There's a link to a schem of the ColourSound Overdriver at your site I've been trying to reach for ages, but it allways get stuck (sp?) to me and I can't download it. Does this effect "overdrive" really clean? JohnC |

Nah, it's OK, and I really liked it at first. Now I would rather go with a Minibooster 2 circuit or the Shaka 3. If you need it, I can email it to you. Aron |

Aron. I was just curious about, that's all. I have a GeoFex Overdriver that I haven't mounted yet, and I wanted to compare them. The cleanest thing I ever heard is an old made in Spain Music Son <- that's the brand, Sound Expander (early '70s) Opened it and looks quite complex. It may be a copy of something else, but I don't think so. As for the tone, you can hardly know when it is on or off, except that it multiplies the volume plus three. Indeed. It's a pitty I'm not good at all (at all) drawing schems. If any of you with such abilities/knowledge ever happend to come to Spain, let me know. JohnC |
