 vox wah: total beginner question
Hi. I have a Vox-Wah V847. It's making this scratchy sound when I use it. Any suggestions? Am I to assume the problem lies somewhere in the pot? I know this is like a total beginner question, but that's what I am, and would really appreciate any help.

Get some electronic contact cleaner, the kind with lubricant, and spray some in the opening of the pot where the terminals are while rotating the pots shaft (rocking the pedal) and see if that helps. Pots get "scratchy" when dirty.
