Fernandes Sustainer too bright I recently bought a Fernandes Sustainer which is really too bright and thin sounding, although acoustically it sounds OK. The sustainer system only works while you have the bridge pickup selected, so that accounts for some of the bright sound no doubt. I changed the pickup to a SD hot rails, and that improved things a little. I was wondering if changing the pots from 500k to 250k would have a noticable effect. Also any other ideas to give more mid response and less highs and lows. Thanks. |

Definitely try a 250k pot, this should do it w/ no problem! |
