Schemtaic wanted -- Bass cut for guitar...
Does anyone know a good way to wire a bass control for the guitar (passive) -- i've tried caps in series with the signal but it isnt very effective,,, usually cuts the mids as well...

Simple 2-component rolloff networks, with a single cap & resistor, tend to have a pretty lazy 6db/ octave attenuation rate. This is extremely gradual. Using such a gradual attenuation curve for a low frequency cutoff will have noticeable attenuation in the mid voice. You can achieve steeper sloped rolloffs close to a chosen corner frequency with a series of these networks, but could introduce unwanted signal loss and phase shift.

One way to reduce the low end output of the pickups is to lower the height adjustment on that end of the pickup, but leave the treble end high.

There's a lot of great information over at that G&L site, especially about pickups, but I wasn't able to locate that schematic. What category needs to be selected to get there?

Thanks,
