It is smooth. It doesn’t turn to mud at the ccw end like a normal tone pot. I put the cut at the "10" end so it would have the stock sounds with the pot on "10". I would get confused otherwise.

    By "smooth" I meant the transition from stock to blended sounds. Going from 10 to 9 could have a bit of a jump in there! But I agree with you about getting confused if the normal position of a control is 0 and not 10! I once wired up my Tele with the pots backwards so that I could c-a-r-e-f-u-l-l-y blend the signals from the two pickups (I had added a 3rd p-p pot which was master volume- or master tone if you pulled it out.) Although I really liked the fine degree of control I never did get used to setting the pots to 0 for full signal so I eventually switched it over to a different harness!
