Anybody know (I'm sure somebody does) how the  
three-knob arraingment in an Explorer is set up?  
 
When I select the bridge(500T) or neck (496R)  
the tone control works "normally". If I use the  
center position and roll off either pickup all the way-no input to amp no matter where the tone is set, i.e., both pickups must be set to over 7 for anything to come out of the guitar with the selector in the middle position.

Is it 2 vol, 1 tone on the Explorer ? If it is then they probably connect the wipers of the vol pots together in the centre position like on the Les Paul.
