Re: Cry Baby Wah Switch Replacment?
Bill, you probably already looked this up, but true bypass is as easy as the following(assuming the picture doesn't get screwed up).

There are 6 lugs on the switch (two on each side, two on the bottom) Looking at the botton of the switch:

Hot input to-----------Hot Input--------
circuit board Bypass
Jumper

Output from------------Hot Ouput--------/
Wah pot
(or output from
whatever effect)

The "bypass wire" in you Crybaby that runs from the circuit board to the SPDT switch isn't used.

I set up sometimes with no effects and sometimes with as many as 7 or 8 and I can't preach the benefits of true bypassing enough.

I think the picture probably did get screwed up but with what you sent and some other stuff I have maybe I can figure it out.

I think that Midwest Analog still has some of the DPDT switches. Check it out at:

I normally stock the Carling, but I'm presently out. I have an alternate, the "Arrow" style as used in the Proco Ratt. I believe it will work. They're $8 each.

I went ahead and bought a SPDT switch this weekend and put it in the pedal. I had to get the thing up and running for practice. I got the switch from Spectronics here in Mobile. I'll get a DPDT switch and mod the thing for true bypass soon.

Thanks!!!
