Phil Lesh. No really, at least sometimes. That climactic trumpet note on Anthem of the Sun is definitely Lesh. |

Jerry Garcia and Bob Weir both had and occasionally used guitars with midi set-ups. Garcia had a ptich-to-midi pick-up in mor ethan one of his custom guitars, Weir used a Casio guitar with a midi pick-up/controller built in (I thionk it was the 510 model). I know some people grimaced at the mention of a casio guiatr, but the body was a capable strat copy and Weir had replaced the neck with a Modulus graphite neck. -Y |
