Help with MXR Digital Delay As Sylvester the cat's little boy says, "Oh father, I'm so ashamed!". I think I'm about to blow my credibility here, but I'm desparate, so forget the question came from me personally. I'm just asking for a friend, yeah, that's the ticket, my friend ... Leo Fender,... the one married to Morgan Fairchild....yeah.... I was cannibalizing the motherboard of my MXR rackmount digital delay (the blue kind) for the tasty little RC4558's on it (well, wouldn't YOU?), and thought I would be able to recollect what order to re-insert the various plug-in boards when I got back to it the next day. One thing turned into another, and 24 hours turned into a few months. Naturally, I didn't write down any info, and found myself staring at the motherboard and pile of plug-ins this past week. The rearmost board (the one closest to the back of the chassis) is obviously placed, but I forget the sequence of the other boards (address counter, compander board, etc.). The one I'm worried about most is the memory board. Is there anyone out there who knows (or knows someone who knows) which order to plug in these things, and which way the memory board faces (chip-side forwards or backwards)? If you can provide any clues, I'd appreciate them. |
